​​​Our first appointment covers an hour and a half of time with your adviser, focusing on getting to know you and your financial situation.

There are some answers that a Google search just can't give you.

Cost

$440 for an hour and a half appointment. 

Why we charge

Some advisers don't charge fees for the first appointment, but we do. Here's why:

• We begin the onboarding process before you walk through the door. We collect information prior to your appointment to ensure we have an accurate understanding of what you need out of your time at Evergreen. 
• Our advisers prepare before meeting with you. Our advisers look through your provided information and prepare calculations, suggested pathways, and concepts unique to your situation. While this is still general advice, it's targeted at what's most valuable for your situation. 
• You'll receive a summary following your appointment. This generally includes any discussion points, links to further information, and some basic calculations. 

REimbursement

If you decide to proceed to a Statement of Advice we will deduct your first appointment from the cost of your advice.

For example, if you pay $440 for your first appointment, and your Statement of Advice costs $2,500, you would only be charged $2,060. This cost is usually paid through the product we're recommending (superannuation, investment, or insurance). ​

What you'll get 

Under ASIC regulation, we can only discuss general information during a first appointment. Here's what we provide: 

• ​We answer your questions. There are some answers that a Google search just can't give you. Our advisers are able to answer questions you have surrounding insurance, superannuation, and investing, but also other financial matters such as budgeting, cashflow management, small business advice, estate planning, and more. 
• We highlight value adds. Often, we see clients who aren't sure what needs to happen. You're not alone. Our advisers can provide solutions to problems you haven't been able to diagnose. You might have a large lumpsum that has been sitting as cash for years, or insurance passively eating at your super balance. We know these concepts like the back of our hand and can identify areas for improvement you might not know about. 
• Graphs, graphs, graphs. Are you a visual learner? Our advisers can run multiple scenarios in real time with graphs and calculations to shed light on your options. Compare how different scenarios will impact your retirement, or how far your investment can grow with regular contributions. The best part? We can send you these visuals after your appointment for you to think on. 
• No obligation. Ever. We'd love to be able to assist you in your financial journey, but we know not everyone will benefit from ongoing advice. That's why we also offer Fee For Service options for more flexibility.
